big dreams and possibility

Fri Feb 16, 2018, 9:36 PM
So, my friends convinced me to start an online literary magazine. I don't have it fully fleshed out, but starting a literary magazine has been a dream of mine for years. Although, I know I can't do it on my own.

So. I wanted to know if anyone is interested in joining as an editor (hopefully if there's enough interest, there can be separate editors for genres)! I'm working on a name now and all the kinks for it. I want it to be open to poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, and photography pieces. All written works should not exceed 3000 words. The magazine will publish bi-annually (hopefully winter and summer, but I'm not sure when this will kick off. For all I know, it could work out to spring and fall). I want it to be open on multi-media platforms. There will be the main magazine website (weebly can be used for this), a possible wattpad account, and a facebook page. I think multi-media is the way to go, especially for my generation.

I know that's pretty much blueprints of blueprints. I might add more stipulations (I'm considering accepting only a certain age group, and letting people choose to publish anonymously) and probably should.

This is very rough, but if anyone is remotely interested, please note me or comment.

You can buy my first published chapbook of poetry, Sensory Deprivation, on Amazon.…
